Mentor Program
Do you want structured, focused, and continuous development in your canopy flying? This mentorship program gives you personal guidance, group-based learning, and a clear progression plan so you can grow at your own pace - supported both by me as your mentor and by your fellow jumpers throughout the season.
You’ll be part of a small group of maximum five participants, all at a similar level. Together with me, you’ll receive teaching, feedback, and a structured development plan. The program combines physical jump weekends, online sessions, and independent training at your home drop zone. By sharing experiences and reflections within the group, you don’t just learn from your own jumps — you also learn from others’ questions, insights, and perspectives.

Who Is the Mentor Program For?
This program is for you if you already land your canopy confidently but feel curious about what more it can do.
Maybe you feel your development has plateaued and you’re missing direction, inspiration, and someone to spar with.
Maybe you’re highly motivated, experimenting on your own, and looking for qualified feedback so you can progress faster and safer.
What you share is the desire for structured progression, continuous and personal feedback, and a community that supports and motivates you throughout the entire season.
Requirements
To participate, it’s essential that you are allowed to jump with a camera. That means you need at least 150 jumps and a camera sign-off (don’t have that yet? Don’t worry — see the FAQ below).
You’ll use your camera to record your jumps at your home club and send the footage to me for debriefing.
How Does It Work?
Physical Kickoff Weekend
March 21–22 – This is the official start of the program and forms the foundation for the entire season.
During this weekend:
You’ll learn to actively use your FlySight GPS data to analyze your own jumps and track your progression over time.
You’ll learn how to film and analyze other landings so you can act as qualified sparring partners for each other throughout the season.
We build a shared understanding of canopy flight, so we speak the same language when working with technique, flight planning, and decision-making in the air.
The weekend ends with you setting concrete goals and sub-goals for your season.
We jump together, practice self-debriefing, and spend time building the group dynamic.
Ongoing Video Debriefs
Throughout the season, you can receive up to 25 video debriefs.
Monday at 19:00 – You upload one selected jump from the week, along with your GPS data.
Friday at 12:00 – Your personal video debrief is ready, including detailed feedback, focus points for the coming period, and exercises for you to explore and experiment with.
Monthly Group Call
Once a month, we meet online to:
Reflect on safety topics
Work with theoretical exercises
Clarify questions
Discuss lessons learned
Physical Closing Weekend
August 28–29 – We wrap up the program together.
This weekend follows a more classic canopy course format. I film and debrief you, while you focus on jumping and enjoying the time with your jump buddies. We’ll run small competitions and finish it all off with a celebration.story online can make all the difference.
yOUR Commitments
By joining the program, you commit to:
Camera – Bringing a camera on your jumps so you can send video material for debriefing.
Gps Tracker – Bringing a GPS tracker on your jumps. Don’t own one? You can rent one from us at a low cost.
Supporting Each Other – Helping your fellow jumpers during the season, both by filming landings from the ground and by engaging in discussions about exercises and debriefs.
Jumping Continuously – Staying reasonably active throughout the season. What does that mean? Simply that you should jump enough to benefit from the program. If 10 jumps per month is continuous for you, that’s perfectly fine.
FAQ
What if I don’t have my camera sign-off yet?
If you’re highly motivated to join but don’t yet have permission to jump with a camera — and expect to get it soon or early in the season — send me a message and we’ll figure it out.
What if I don’t own a FlySight?
The program requires a GPS tracker so I can analyze your jumps properly. If you don’t own one, you can rent one from us at a low cost, with the option to buy it after the season minus the rental price. More details will follow — or send me a message if you’re curious.
How many participants are there?
The plan is to create three groups in different parts of the country — for example:
One group in the Kolding area
One group in North Jutland
One group on Fyn
Each group has a maximum of five participants. This is also the group you’ll meet with during your monthly online calls. All groups gather for the physical kickoff and closing weekends.
What if no one from my local area signs up?
If no one from your area joins, we’ll find a solution. You’ll have more direct contact with me and join another group’s monthly online meeting. The important thing is that we all meet in person at the kickoff — so we start the season having looked each other in the eyes.
