Intermediate Canopy Course – Glide & Planning
Instructor: Ernestas Beskis
Fly farther. Think ahead. Stay sharp.
This one-day course is all about efficiency, decision-making, and expanding your control range. You'll refine your use of rear and front risers, improve pattern planning, and learn how to recover from bad turns before they turn into bad landings.
You’ll learn how to:
Use rear risers for extended glide and leveled-out landings
Apply multiple grip styles to control input fatigue and precision
Recognize and recover from rear riser stalls safely
Plan with glide ratio and wind drift
Understand and practice front risers maneuvers
Perform turn recovery techniques to avoid critical low-turn situations
Build situational awareness using GPS, altitudes, and pattern planning tools
Perfect for:
Skydivers with around 50–300 jumps who want to level up their canopy skills through smart planning, accurate inputs, and real-world risk management.
By the end of this course, you’ll:
✅ Maximize your glide efficiency in different wind conditions
✅ Improve your flight pattern and altitude management
✅ Feel confident using front and rear risers safely
✅ Know how to respond if a turn goes wrong
